Greetings!

Thank you for subscribing to Highland Library's e-newsletter! Here's what's happening:

Free Comic Book Day
Saturday, May 3, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
A yearly international event that celebrates that wonderful and unique art form, the humble comic book. Drop into the library on this day (or find an independent Comic Book store) and get a FREE comic book to add to your collection!  It's that easy!  We send a big thank-you to our partner and sponsor for this event, Comic City.

The library will be closed on Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26 for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.

Discussion Series Part 2
Wed, May 14, 6:30pm
We had a fantastic discussion last month on the subject of survival. This month we will read Jean Auel's The LAnd of Painted Caves and our discussion will be on the theme of Knowledge.  We all want to be stronger, smarter, and more aware, but how and why do we Push the Limits?  Join us for another great discussion. You can pick up the book starting now in the Adult Dept.
