Medicare Counseling
The Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) provides free unbiased help with Medicare and Medicaid. A certified volunteer can help you understand plan choices, answer questions, and troubleshoot. Call (800) 803-7174 to schedule an appointment.
Reserve A Study Room
The Large Community Meeting Room and Lower Level Study Room are available for booking.
All other small group study rooms are available first-come, first-served.
Book Discussion Group
Join our "The Book Ends" book club! Copies of the book will be available at the Library - Large Print and audiobooks also available.
Exam Proctoring
We have library staff available to proctor exams for distance-learning students during the library’s open hours. Please call (248) 887-2218 (option 3) for details and to schedule an exam time.
StoryWalk
A self-guided reading adventure outside the Highland Library. Enjoy a story in the great outdoors by following a grassy path through the field and down to the lake as you read the story page by page.

Tax Preparation
Physical copies of all tax forms are located in the Copy Room as we receive them. Forms are available on a first come, first served basis.
You can also download them online and print them as need here at he library.
